‘Never-Ending Story’ Webinar: Conservation and Rebirth of Historic Buildings
7 December 2020
Disrepair and Demolish or Revitalise and Rejuvenate? Falling into a state of torpor can be disastrous for many buildings in our city. In heritage conservation projects, experts from various fields work together to identity and restore essential historical elements, and to revitalise old buildings by injecting new functions.
Part of the ‘Never-Ending Story’ Webinar Series, created in support of the State Theatre Conservation Plan, Culture For Tomorrow presents the “Conservation and Rebirth” webinar. Hosted by architectural historian Charles Lai, he will be joined by Hong Kong urbanist and artist Sampson Wong, and Yu Ka Sing, a scholar in architectural conservation as speakers.
